Venezuela Children's Medicine

Dear Friends:  We are preparing to send another box of medicines and non-perishable foods to Venezuela.  Please consider making a small donation of $5.00 to help families in Venezuela.  (All donations are tax-deductible) The situation is more critical than ever as the country is experience massive blackouts that have rendered hospitals without power and water is unable to be pumped into homes without the generators.  We have news that the Red Cross has been given permission to enter the country within the next month.  We want to continue to do as much as we can from Texas.  Thank you!  Background:  I am Freddie Wagner and along with my wife, Melissa, we are living in Abilene, Texas now, but stay connected with friends in Maracaibo, Venezuela.  We are still in touch with specific needs that are currently unattainable due to the difficulty getting access to U.S. dollars.   When we receive the money, we have purchased medicines and shipped them within 2-4 days and/or wired the money directly.  Once the medicine arrives in Venezuela, two things are happening.  Some of the medicine is going directly to friends who disperse it or use it to purchase medicine and there is a church that has set up a small distribution center to give out some of the medicines.  100% of the money is going to purchase either medicine, diapers, or sundries.  We cover all the shipping costs ourselves.  Thank you for your help on behalf of our friends!
