The Torres Family Fund

Donation protected
As I said before, these are my family members, my cousins, aunts and uncles adn my grandma. The donations will be used to pay for airline tickets on expedia, also the bus fares, and get them a stove, a washer,  pay for the first month of rent, and if possible for medical treatment for my aunt who has a brain tumor
This will be paid by my mom, Ana Maria Leon,  who is in Chile. When I receive the funds I will tranfer them to my mom, so she can pay for all those expenses. The reason they can't do it themselves is because they don't have any credit cards or bank accounts.

Description of the journey-Venezuela-Chile
https://youtu.be/PK7-NKjP1nA

My name is Ana Torres, I live in Austin Texas. I migrated to the US when I was 8 years old. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunities that comes from living in a free country. I want my cousins to live in an environment that is safe and offers them a chance to become the successful adults they want to be.

The Torres family wants a future for their children to continue their education and become successful adults. This GoFundMe page is to support our family for a better tomorrow, and provide them with the opportunities they have been fighting for, over a decade in Venezuela.

Venezuela has for months been getting deeper into crisis, the violence and an economic collapse that has left many struggling to survive. Because of high inflation and unemployment, Venezuela has the most miserable economy in the world. The country currently has an inflation rate of 900 percent. Venezuela's minimum wage for a month is just over $10.
According to the OVV, Venezuela maintained its rank as the second most violent nation in the world outside of open war.

Shortages of food, and medicine has devastated a nation where more than 80 percent of the people already live in poverty.

Chile is one of the countries that is letting Venezuelans migrate and work legally within 3 months.

The funds will be used toward these expenses:
-Legal documents
-Issue Passports
-Airfare tickets (Colombia to Chile). They can't fly from Venezuela, as most airlines have left.
-Arrival in Chile- (expenses for lodging, food and transportation first month in Chile). It takes 3 months to be able to start work in Chile.
-Work visa for Chile

Meet the Torres Family:
13 total (9 adults and 4 kids)
They are leaving their country,  the only place they have ever called home, with one suitcase and no money, beacuse the dollars are controlled by the government.
They are currently making less than $15 per month. Some of them professionals, teachers, college and high school students.
