COATS for KIDS

I am a 21 year old Venezuelan immigrant that has been living in the United States for over 16 years.  After years of trying to figure out what I can do to help those who are fleeing the country, me alongside 3 partners have found a way to give back to our people and those in poor conditions.⁣ ⁣ Economic collapse and internal conflict is driving millions of Venezuelans from their home. 4 million people are now displaced, including thousands of vulnerable children. Kids are suffering from deadly illnesses, malnutrition and emotional trauma. Children who grow up impoverished often lack the sanitation, shelter, health care and education they need to survive and thrive.⁣ ⁣ COATS for KIDS was created by ‘The Minds Eye Community’ to help Venezuelan & Colombian children and young adults in poverty specifically living in Colombia. Children are living on the streets and the demand is getting higher.⁣ ⁣ Our goal is to feed & clothe as many families as possible. 100% of donations will be going towards clothes, shoes, toys, and/or food for those in need. Our team will be flying to deliver these items in person to the children in Colombia. There are thousands of families shoeless, hungry & in isolation.
