Venezuela Animal Relief Effort

The Phenom Foundation is raising $15,000 for an animal relief effort in Venezuela. The funds will be used to transport up to 30 dogs out of Caracas and to health, happiness and safety in the United States.  We already have identified specific dogs available for adoption and partners in the US that will ensure the facilitation of new forever homes.

The Humanitarian crisis in Venezuela:

Venezuelans reported losing on average 24 lb in body weight in 2017 and almost 90 percent now live in poverty (source).  With soaring malnutrition rates, medicine in short supply, and thousands of children without enough food over 3.4 million Venezuelans have fled their country (source ). 

The situation is dire for it's people and much WORSE for the animals. 

While the people have received some outside support, next to nothing is being done for the animals.  With over 1 million% inflation and poverty in Venezuela, there is no chance for adoption within their country

That's where we come in! 

Phenom Foundation x Red De Appoyo Rescue Operation:
 
The Phenom Foundation is partnering up with Red De Appoyo, a Caracas based non-profit dedicated to animal welfare, to transport 7-10 dogs to the US and give them a shot health, happiness and their forever homes.

Once stateside we've secured partnerships with organizations like Vanderpump Dogs and Born Free Pet Shelter to care for the dogs and ensure swift adoptions.
