Hello Everyone,
A few weeks ago my dear friend Paige Menicucci Sanders set up a go fund me page on my behalf. After a couple of days I asked her to take it down. I was embarrassed to ask others for financial assistance. Since taking it down I have received several requests to put it back up. This is heartwarming. The truth is Mark and I do need help, financially, spiritually and emotionally during this difficult time.
I have the diagnosis of the Pheochromocytoma , a very rare Endocrine cancer and secondary to this an Aortic Aneurysm. Both are life threatening. Both require major surgery. No surgery dates have been set yet. I am terrified. These conditions are slowly killing me.
So I am setting pride aside. I will humbly accept any help be it prayer or donations. Thank you.

Help Put Velea Shulman Back Together Again!
Velea has had a great fall.
She was diagnosed in May of this year with a very rare Endocrine Cancer called Pheochromocytoma.
She has a very large tumor in/on her adrenal gland. This tumor is secreting adrenaline into her system at life threatening amounts which could cause a stroke or heart attack at any time.
Velea was very fortunate to be accepted to the National Institutes of Health to participate in their Pheochromocytoma Protocal for studies and removal of the tumor. Removal of the tumor is the only treatment for this cancer. Surgery was scheduled for August 16. Unfortunately the day before surgery it was discovered that she has a Dilated Ascending Aorta, making this surgery very high risk. Surgery at NIH was cancelled as they have no Cardiac support.
Velea now has the Pheochromocytoma and the Heart condition to take care of.
She is with her husband Mark in Maryland trying to find a doctor who has experience with Pheochromocytoma. She is not stable enough to fly home. There is no anticipated time frame as to when they will return to their home in Denver Colorado. They had planned on being home the week of 8/21. Both Mark and Velea are off of work and are not receiving any income.
This is physically, mentally and financially devastating.
