<div><strong>Help</strong> Stichting Met de Noorderzon secure and protect a 40-acre forest area
</div>
<div>Stichting Met de Noorderzon is committed to nature conservation and supporting local communities in the Netherlands, Spain, and Tanzania. Sustainability, local involvement, and respect for culture and nature are at the heart of everything we do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What happened?</strong>
</div>
<div>After a forest fire in Pangani (Tanzania), we planted mango, passion fruit, and coconut trees, along with native trees whose leaves are loved by monkeys.
</div>
<div>To make this possible, we have already purchased 10 acres (approx. 4 hectares) of land.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The result?</strong>
</div>
<div>The monkeys have returned.
</div>
<div>Birds, small mammals, and insects have found a home again.
</div>
<div>Nature is coming back to life.
</div>
<div>But… this is only the beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our goal</strong>
</div>
<div>We want to expand this area to 40 acres, creating a permanent and protected habitat for both people and wildlife.
</div>
<div>If we do not act, the land will be bought by investors who see it not as nature, but as a profit opportunity. This leads to deforestation, loss of biodiversity, and displacement of local communities.
</div>
<div>Every square meter we save is a victory.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How you can help</strong>
</div>
<div>€35 → protects 40 m² of nature
</div>
<div>€350 → protects 400 m²
</div>
<div>€3,500 → protects 1 acre (4,000 m²)
</div>
<div>(including land surveyor &amp; official registration)
</div>
<div>€35,000 → secures a complete habitat for diverse wildlife
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our first urgent step is the purchase of an additional 4 acres.
</div>
<div>Wildlife already living in the area
</div>
<div>Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and Sykes’ monkeys
</div>
<div>Bush babies (galagos) at night
</div>
<div>Dikdik, mongoose, and African wild cat near the waterholes
</div>
<div>Local and migratory birds
</div>
<div>African fish eagles in the mangroves
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How is the money managed?</strong>
</div>
<div>All funds go exclusively through Stichting Met de Noorderzon, which oversees and controls all spending. No money is transferred directly to local individuals or companies.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All activities are carried out:
</div>
<div>under the supervision of a Met de Noorderzon representative,
</div>
<div>in collaboration with village elders,
</div>
<div>with involvement of the Ward District Manager,
</div>
<div>together with the director of Go With the Northern Sun (the accommodation) and the Manjakiti (village chief).
</div>
<div>In addition, day and night guards have been appointed to protect the area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why this matters so much</strong>
</div>
<div>Local and international investors see financial opportunities — but nature and local communities pay the price.
</div>
<div>It doesn’t have to be this way.
</div>
<div>This is a chance to say together: this land remains nature.
</div>
<div>No bulldozers. No deforestation.
</div>
<div>Yes to trees, wildlife, peace, and future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Join us — every contribution matters</strong>
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, directly supports the protection of this unique natural area.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Together we protect:</strong>
</div>
<div>nature
</div>
<div>wildlife
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
</div>
<div>The second best time is now
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Wat is er gebeurd?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Het resultaat?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Maar… dit is pas het begin.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Ons doel</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Zo kun jij helpen</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>€35 → redt 40 m² natuur
</div>
<div>€350 → redt 400 m²
</div>
<div>€3.500 → redt 1 acre (4.000 m²)
</div>
<div>(incl. landmeter &amp; officiële registratie)
</div>
<div>€35.000 → een compleet leefgebied voor diverse wildlife
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Colobusapen, vervet- en sykes monkeys
</li>
<li>Bush babies (galago’s) in de nacht
</li>
</li>
<li>Lokale én trekvogels
</li>
<li>Visarenden in de mangroves
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alle werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
</li>
<li>in samenwerking met dorpsoudsten,
</li>
</li>
<li>samen met de directeur van Go With the Northern Sun (de accommodatie) en de Manjakiti (dorpshoofd).
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Waarom dit zo belangrijk is</strong>
</div>
<div><strong></strong>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dat hoeft niet.
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Geen bulldozers. Geen ontbossing.
</div>
<div>Wel: bomen, dieren, rust, toekomst.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Doe mee, groot of klein, alles helpt
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Samen beschermen we:
</div>
<ul>
<li>natuur
</li>
<li>wildlife
</li>
<li>cultuur
</li>
<li>lokale gemeenschappen
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
