Vega's Wish

Dear Family, Friends, and Giving Supporters,

My name is April Hansen. I'm raising funds to support my cousin and her beautiful family. My cousin Shelley and her husband Billy have fiercely supported their brave little girl, Vega Francis, through her journey with cancer. Unfortunately, Vega's rare form of leukemia has been brutal to treat, and they now find themselves in a place where no parent, sibling, friend or family member would ever want to be.

After 13 rounds of chemo, consultative feedback from the best-of-the-best medical providers around the nation, and more months in the hospital than out of the hospital, the medical team and Vega's family have had to make some difficult decisions. As Vega approaches her 3rd birthday next month, she is now surrounded by her family at home with the help of hospice nursing.

While Vega may not have much time left on this earth, she does have a BIG WISH that we can all help come true! Vega's wish, and Shelley and Billy's wish for their family, is to have the opportunity to go to Disney. Vega's medical team feels this could be a reality if they go very soon. So, if possible, we are pulling together resources to try and get them all there this week.

We hope you can find it in your heart to help support Vega's wish. Any amount - no matter how much - will help. From our entire family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness, love, and generosity are not lost on us.
