Vegan Ramadan meals for Gaza

Anas Anas, a law student living in the Israeli-controlled and blockaded Palestinian territory of Gaza who has been successfully raising funds to aid Gazan children, elderly, students, disabled people and families for the last two years, has teamed up with U.S.-based pro-intersectional vegan and Free Palestine solidarity activist Laura Schleifer to offer vegan meals to Gazan families for Ramadan! Previously, Anas Anas has raised money to fund a disabled child to travel to Australia for surgery, pay school tuition fees for students, provided food aid to families and senior centers, raised money to fund a community education center, provided blankets to families without heat or electricity during the winter (since Israel bombed their only power plant in 2014 and has blocked them from obtaining the materials to rebuild it, Gaza has been mostly without power for the last 3 years), brought children to swimming and sports events, and many more initiatives. This Ramadan, he is raising money for all-vegan dinners for 30 Gazan Palestinian families! Serving plant-based meals will serve multiple purposes; they are more cost effective, they save animals and they last longer without refrigeration. We hope that members of the vegan and Palestine solidarity movements, as well as all those who care about the well-being of a vulnerable population living under foreign military occupation  and enduring one of the world's worst human rights crises, will help us with this important initiative!
