Save a Little Life

Hello, my name is Titus. My owner died when I was young and her children don't want me. I've spent most of my life entirely alone in a concrete pen filled with rubble in the Apennine Mountains. My feet are injured now and it's become a struggle to walk. I'm very small and don't think I'll survive another winter. Please help me make the journey to a new life in the UK.
Titus's elderly owner died when he was not much more than a pup. Her children didn't want him, so he was left in a pen behind a crumbling house and has had no more human contact apart from food and water left for him every 2-3 weeks.
Over the last three years when we holiday in the mountains near where he is kept we have watched his condition deteriorate. His only companion was a stray cat that used to visit him, but the cat is gone now and Titus is entirely alone. His feet have been damaged, possibly by the bitter winters, but no one cares enough to take him to a vet and he's getting thin. Titus is such a sweet boy and wants to be loved, but while he is very eager for any contact at all, he is also very shy and nervous.
Titus needs urgent medical care and a pet passport. (He has never seen a vet and needs all his shots, neutering & care for his feet.) I intend to "rescue" him from the central Italian mountains. This will involve a couple of flights, rental cars, trains and a ferry in addition to the vet bills, but I am determined to help him. He is so gentle and loving. No animal should be left to languish and die this way. If you can spare anything at all, please help!
