Veerayatan Emergency COVID Relief Work

The Covid pandemic is devastating the lives of people all over the world. India is currently the epicentre of the suffering! People are fearful, feeling helpless, engulfed with sorrow. Veerayatan has initiated two projects to bring much needed relief to those in need.
Project 1: Medical assistance
Veerayatan has identified the following immediate and practical needs in Bihar, Kutch and Palitana in India:
1. Support of rural hospitals by supplying Oxygen Concentrators.
2. Support people infected with Covid to manage at home by distributing Medical Kits to householders. The kits will contain a thermometer, oximeter, masks, hand sanitisers and preventative medicines.
3. Support people by providing Food Kits containing rice, lentils, wheat flour, edible oil, tea, sugar and pulses.
Project 2: Providing daily hot meals
Veerayatan has extended it’s efforts further to alleviate the sorrow and hardships faced by people in Ahmedabad. A beautiful project, feeding hundreds of people affected by Covid, has started. Fresh and nutritious hot meals are cooked and delivered twice daily to those in need. Watch the video below and be inspired to make a difference.
In these dire times, what is needed is positive actions underpinned with our compassion, friendship and support for all in need. Let us all take this opportunity to alleviate the pain and suffering we are witnessing daily! Recommended donations are set out below but all donations, whatever the amount, are welcome!

Veerayatan has already supported thousands of people during the first wave of the pandemic by distributing food parcels to the underprivileged in the state of Bihar.
