Trying to save my Home

As you may know, I lost my job in late summer over my COVID vaccine refusal. At the same time, my back was (and still is) in dire need of medical intervention, which limits my employment options and many of my daily activities.

Fortunately, at the time I was way ahead on bill payments and had some savings, so I was fine for the first couple of months. I have availed myself of all applicable government aid services (it turns out being an Old Man helps), but it’s taking some time to process Medicaid and SS disability applications so I’m in a bind now.

My property management does not want me out of here, and they’ve offered to forgo my mortgage payments for the next 2 months—of course it goes on the backend of another 4 year mortgage, that’s fine. But I still need the lot payment, data (my lifeline), a tank of gas per month, and sundries.

The neurologist thinks I might even be able to get by without surgery if the PT continues to work.

I am actively seeking work in any capacity I can physically do, until I can get through this. As reluctant as I am to ask for help, I’ve run out of other options and humbly ask for your assistance to get through Nov-January.

By my budget estimates, money needed for lot rent, data, fuel, and sundries is about $2000.

I would be grateful for any amount to get me through Jan. I anticipate being able to “pay it forward” to the next Glib GFM when I’m back on my feet.
