<div>Many of you may know me, and many may not, but this is not something I ever thought I’d have to share so openly. At this moment, I’m truly at my wits’ end and don’t know where else to turn.

<div>It’s just me and my 8 year old son, and right now we’re facing eviction from our home. I lost my job a few months back, and despite countless applications, interviews, and even second interviews, nothing has come through. The only way I’ve been able to keep us afloat is by doing DoorDash and relying on unemployment to cover what little I can, while still trying to keep other bills paid.

<div>I’ve applied for SER multiple times, sending in all the paperwork they’ve asked for, but I’ve been denied again and again. I’ve even tried for loans, but without a steady income, that door has been closed too.

<div>This is so hard for me to admit because I’ve worked so hard to build a home for my son. The thought of losing it and having nowhere to go breaks me. He’s only 8, and I never want him to feel like I let him down.
