Fundraiser For Robert Petrone

My name is Robert Petrone. I am a Tennessee resident and am now in end stage 5  Kidney Failure.  I go  to dialysis 3 times a week and am trying to at least work part-time in between treatments.  Thankfully I have passed all the testing requirements to become a candididate on the kidney transplant waiting list which currently has over 100k patients.

The only way to get off dialysis is to have a transplant.  I have had  several people step up to be tested but for various reasons were found ineligible.

I am in contact with Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville Tennessee  where the Transplant will take place if a donor is found.  There is a  possible donor in the works at the moment.  The medical cost for a Transplant is overwhelming. I started this Gofund me campaign to help for expenses relating to Transplant surgery and medication.. Medication is very costly and not covered 100 % by insurance. Being on dialysis for so long is taking a toll on me and it is getting to the point where working is getting impossible.  My wife will not beable to work during my surgery and sometime after while I am going thru recovery.
