Help Anisa to attend UWC East Africa

Hello everyone,
My name is Anisa Nazarova, and I am a high school senior in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. I am excited to share with you that I have been offered a place at UWC East Africa, a prestigious school that provides a transformative education to students from all over the world. However, I need your help to make this opportunity a reality.
UWC's mission is to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. It achieves this by bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to live and learn together in a community that values respect, understanding, and empathy. UWC's unique educational model aims to inspire students to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond.
I am honored to have been selected as one of only five students from Tajikistan to attend UWC East Africa. This is a highly competitive and rigorous program, and I am thrilled to have the chance to experience it firsthand. However, even with the scholarship that UWC has generously awarded me, I still need additional support to cover expenses such as flights to and from college, medical insurance, and other incidentals. These expenses will total approximately $4,000 a year, which is a financial hardship for my family as I grew up in a single-parent household. The needed expenses include:
1. Travel to and from college – 2100$ a year
2. Medical insurance – 700$ a year
3. Vaccines - 200$
4. Other expenses– 1000$ a year
Your support would mean the world to me. By contributing to my fundraising campaign, you would be helping me to access an education that will shape my future in immeasurable ways. Not only will I receive an outstanding academic education, but I will also be exposed to a diverse range of perspectives and cultures that will broaden my worldview and prepare me to be a global citizen.
Thank you for considering supporting me on this journey. I am grateful for any contribution you can make, no matter how small. Together, we can make this dream a reality.
With gratitude,
Anisa Nazarova
