Vamba's College Fund

Vamba is among the most curious, self-motivated, and driven people employed by Partners In Health. Day to day, he shows strong dedication to our mission of helping the sick and vulnerable get access to healthcare.

Vamba is a Monitoring and Evaluation team lead in Kono, Sierra Leone. He goes above and beyond his duties in teaching himself new programs and skills, especially when it comes to mobile health. He recently independently learned how to design surveys in CommCare, taught community health workers how to use the mobile application to collect data in the field, and learned how to display the results in another platform, Power BI.

In his free time, Vamba taught himself how to draft in 3D on YouTube and designed and built a house for his mom!

To further his education, Vamba wants to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in IT through an accredited online program at Don Bosco University. He hopes that this opportunity will allow him to continue to support the PIH mission, contribute to his family’s welfare, and enable him to go on to a Master’s degree in health informatics in the future.

This is our opportunity as Vamba’s colleagues, friends, and family to support him in advancing his career! All funds raised will go to his tuition fees.
