Support Abbi Opthof\'s Cancer Fund

In September 2010, 13 year old Abbi was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer (a rare form known as \"Sex Chord Stromal\") and had surgery to remove a large malignant growth and drain nearly 10 liters of bodily fluid from her abdominal cavity. Unfortunately, saving Abbi\'s life will require several months of intense in-patient chemotherapy. Everyone who knows her is amazed and inspired by how strong and fearless she has been through this entire painful process.

Although much of Abbi\'s care is paid for by medical insurance coverage, her family is under a tremendous amount of financial stress during this difficult time. Despite the growing stack of bills from very costly insurance premiums and co-pays, her mother has taken an indefinite leave of absence from her career to provide the vital at-home care needed to get Abbi through this ordeal.
