Recovery for Norman McCollum

While working in Lewiston, Idaho my brother Norman got extremely ill with double pneumonia and became septic. He has no insurance to cover any of the medical costs while in the hospital as well as the therapy needed for recovery. He was admitted into the ICU only having 30% oxygen and is now fighting for his life. He was put on a ventilator and after 5 days of no improvement the doctor thought it was critical that he be transferred to a more safisticated hospital while he was still stable enough to be moved. He was flown to Portland Oregon to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center where they have a specialized machine called the ECMO which they use when all other treatments have failed. Patients on ECMO are among the most critical patients in the world. It is possible that he could be on this machine for weeks and even months. My mother is going to be here the entire time and will not be able to work therefore she will have no income coming in. It is also costing my family an unsustainable amount of money to be out here to support him. Any help that anyone can give would be graciously appreciated beyond words. We are also asking for as many prayers as needed to bring him back to us healthy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!!!
