Pipers Medical Expenses

In October 2017 Piper was hospitalized at the age of 3.   She was lethargic; loosing weight (weighing in at 27 pounds); had severe pain in her lower stomach area  when she ate and had blood in her stools.   She had several medical procedures done including a colonoscopy.  After 10 days, she was sent home where her parents continued to monitor her.   They had to take samples to the GI specialist for a few months and in early January she was "released" without any conclusion.  She was diagnosed with colitis but no idea why.  The bleeding stopped for about 2 1/2 weeks and then it started all over again.   Now 4 years old, she was readmitted back in the hospital on Thursday.   She has had another colonoscopy; along with other intrusive tests.  CT's will be done on her stomach and other areas that can't be scoped.  Other tests will be done along with food allergy testing.  March 26, 2018: Piper is my granddaughter and all your contributions will be used to help pay her hospital and ongoing medical expenses.   Unfortunately she will need to continue treatments indefinately if not perminately.  I can't tell you how much your contributions mean to all of us.   Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
