BRING ONYX HOME
Donation protected
My Name is Kelly Poudrier, On January,28,2016 My dog onyx went missing from my back yard. Although myself, family and friends all joined in the search we didnt find him!! I called in a missing dog report immediatly. The next morning I started calling vet clinics to try and locate him.
I finally found him at an emergency care vet clinic at
10am the following day. The confusion starts here...... My pup is mirochipped, yet no one called me to advise that my dog had been brought in the night before...??? I was told to come to the clinic with ID to claim my boy. When I arrived I was given a number of a peace officer, and told to call her and that my dog was being seized and I was going to be investigated for "ABUSE" They are claiming my dog is "emaciated" although he is a very thin dog, he is a whippet cross , he has an abundance of energy and has never appeared unhealthy in way.
I have spent the last 9 days trying to get my dog back. There has been minimal communication with CHS and There are many discrepencies in the investigation.
-I was never advised my dog was found in spite of his microchip. I went to the humane society and finally demanded confirmation on saturday. Jan.30/16
- my dog was taken in by a neighbor who claimed it was is their own and they tried to surrender him.
- The peace officer involved wouldn't talk to me for 6 days
-There has been no information regarding my dogs health forwarded to me at all.
I know there will be many bills associated with the return of my dog..... I will use all proceeds to free onyx. Anything over and above will be donated to Misty creek Dog rescue ..... Where I initially rescued Onyx from....
