VBC YA Mission Trip: Brazil, 2012

Dear friends and family, 

Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." 

The following are planning to go on this mission trip to Brazil: Pastor Lam, Pastor Lam's wife Ana Lucia, Bimpe Aibinuomo, Minh Duong, Sean Han, Pollette Holcombe, Paul Howard, Julianne Huynh, Sam Huynh, Dr. Kim Nguyen, Jeannie Nguyen, Jennifer Nelson, Juan Noyola, Edward Phu, Joe Torres, Hanh Tran, and Maureen Yaung.

Here is a quick summary of our trip: 
WHAT: We will be traveling on behalf of the Vietnamese Baptist Church's Young Adults Ministry on our first mission trip since the 1990's. 
HOW: We are seeking your prayers and financial support through this online donation site with a goal of raising $20,000 and raising another $12,000 through other fundraisers.
WHERE: Sao Paulo, Brazil 
WHEN: Monday, June 25 thru Tuesday, July 3, 2012 
WHY: We will be reaching out to the children's hospital and to the children that live in velas there. 

We are seeking your financial support on these goals to cover visa application fees, plane tickets, meals, and accommodations when we are reaching out to the children in Brazil. 

Most importantly, please pray for God to work through us in touching the Brazilian children's lives.
