<a href="https://www.thehalifaxhelpers.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Halifax Helpers</a>  is a FREE, student led tutoring and workshop service providing students in grades P-12 with online academic support. In March 2020, our organization was born out of a need for educational reinforcement during COVID-19. Our goal has been to foster a positive relationship between students and their education and aid in the development of confident, curious, and collaborative learners.  So far, we have developed a team of over 70 volunteers and spent more than 3,000 hours tutoring students around the province. The demand for our services continues to grow and we are excited to be expanding our organization to meet the community’s needs. This growth and program maintenance is costly. We are turning to the community to help us, help students. What can your donation do? $10 helps them reach 10 new students $20 buys their website domain for the year $30 pays for their booking platform for a month $50 pays for the recruitment and training of a new volunteer tutor $100+ helps pay for legal services and program expansion The Halifax Helpers has made an unimaginable difference in so many students’ lives, and with your aid, we look forward to continuing to create change.
