Vaughn McClure Memorial Scholarship Fund

Vaughn McClure former ESPN writer, contributor and TV journalist for the Atlanta Falcons NFL Football Team died peacefully of natural causes on October 15, 2020 at age 48.  A memorial tribute will be held in Schaumburg, IL on Saturday, November 7th at 4pm at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road.  The family in tandem with James B. Conant High School and District 211, will honor Vaughn posthumously for the Distinguished Cougar Award and place his image and contributions in the school's atrium and in Conant Memorial Park on the school's campus.  ALL funds received will go toward the Vaughn McClure Memorial Scholarship Fund--a fund newly created to provide $1000 scholarships for eligible student applicants seeking a college education.  Every dollar raised will be matched up to the target amount to help eligible student applicants.
