Hello everyone,
My name is Tim Loos, and this loving family you see in the picture is the Vargas Family. They have lived in Naples, Florida, in the same house for the past 35 years. Living in the home is 1 adult, two seniors, two kids (5 and 13 years old), two dogs, and one young adult who is currently away in training with the Air Force. On Wednesday, September 28th right around 12:30 pm, the family decided to leave their home with little to no personal items, not knowing that the whole neighborhood would be underwater within the hour. The family never in a million years ever thought they would be hit with a flood or storm surge by this Hurricane Ian. They have never seen anything like this and are truly heartbroken to have had to be shoveling out the water that came into their home.
Not only was the home flooded, but also 2 of their cars were totaled from the flood water. The days without power slowed down the clean-up. It has taken this family numerous days to clean up and throw out all that has been damaged and are still in the repair process.
Any amount will help this loving, authentic and genuine family with food, water, furniture, clothing, repairs, and other necessities for the kids and seniors.
