Help us Upgrade our Softball Infield.

I am trying to raise money to have the Infield upgraded in our town of Vankleek Hill. I am part of the VKH softball league. Right now there is stone dust being used for the infield , which is typical in most municipalities, and many of us who play softball there on Tuesday and Thursday nights have been hurt when we have fallen. . I am doing all I can to raise the funds myself to have the existing stone dust dug up and removed. It will be replaced with a 3 way mix of wash sand, clay soil and washed block sand. This is a special mixed used for Infields! The work will be done by a local excavation company. I want to help the community have a better softball field, it’s well maintained as is but a sand infield would be a great upgrade to our ball field! I want to upgrade and fundraising is a great way to get the community involved and not affect the tax rate.
