Wheelchair Accessable Van For James

As hard as this is to ask, we need your help with an adapted accessible van!
James lost his ability to walk in March of 2017, because of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is a muscle wasting disease that causes young boys to rapidly loose the muscle strength in their legs, arms, and eventually their heart leaving them with a limited life expectancy of the early 20's.
Since losing the ability to walk, James is dependent on his power wheel chair. Although the chair has been an absolute blessing to his independence, the transportation of the chair has not.
Currently, we transfer James into the car seat by physically carrying him. We then drive the chair up a steep external ramp hanging from the back of our car. Due to the weight of the chair this ramp is quickly wearing and bending. With the weather changing, I am afraid there will be days that we cannot transport him at all. James and our entire family are very active in the community through Corona little league, Norco boy scouts, Norco cub scouts, and Norco/Eastvale football. We are trying all we can to keep our family active and James independent; while encouraging our children to live life to the fullest. We can't allow the lack of accessable tranportation stop this goal.
Many have asked us how they can help support our family since this diagnosis 6-years ago, and this is your opportunity! We are currently raising money for the purchase of a full-size Sprinter van with an adapted side lift. After extensive research we have found this van to be the most suitable for our family's needs. James has a younger brother Jayden with Duchenne as well, and the disease has recently begun to progresses require a power chair for him as well.
