So as most of you already know, on Wednesday July 5, 2017, the world lost a beautiful angel that I was blessed to call my best friend and my sister. This angel's name was Vanessa Bergeron and her soul was a special gift to the world. She touched many people's lives and was always the one to call or talk to in times of need. She gave selflessly, loved fiercly and unconditionally, and was a powerful, influential, and inspirational woman who knew her worth and beauty and wasn't afraid to share it with the world.
An avid animal lover and humanitarian, you could always find Vanessa spooning your dog, picking up some weird critter on the beach, feeding a goat, or heart to hearting random people everywhere whether it be in the club or at the grocery store. She genuinely gave a shit about every living thing she came into contact with and she always had a way of making you laugh your ass off even when you were feeling down and out. Even now, in these sad times without her, it's hard to think of her without starting to laugh.
Vanessa was always the one person who when you talked to her, was more excited about your goals and accomplishments than even you. She was always saying how proud she was of us. She has always pushed us and inspired us to be the best people we could be and always believed in us even when we didn't believe in ourselves.
As a final gift to Vanessa, I wanted to create this gofundme for her, to pass on to her father, to help relieve some of the financial burden that she left behind as well as the cost of her memorial and cremation. Any little bit helps, gratitude in advance for any and all contributions are greatly appreciated in this difficult time. She has helped so many of us in our lowest times, and in her memory I want to do the same for her family in their lowest time.
For anyone wanting to attend her celebration of life, her Dad wants to do the celebration on September 16th this fall as she has friends all over the world, and we want anyone who wants to come to have the opportunity to save and plan so everyone can make it. There is an event created on her memorial facebook page, so if you are attending please try to confirm if you can make it or not as we need a rough estimate of how many will be attending.
