This cause. Unfortunately we are not close to meeting our goal. The Miller family wants each of you to know that the funds in this account will be set aside for Carters care. He has an upcoming trip back to Shepherd and the funds from this account will help greatly with that expense as well as help with day to day items that are necessary but unfortunately not covered by insurance. UPDATE: Carter is home and we are so thankful! He is receiving therapy in home currently and continuing to make progress. Carter and his family are learning how to do their "new normal".
Carter was in a swimming accident on June 2, 2017 that left him paralyzed. We are believing for a miracle for him, but in the mean time, Carter needs wheels! The family needs some help with the purchase of a van with a lift. He recently returned home from Atlanta GA receiving therapy. Unfortunately funds are not available at this time for the family to purchase a van. So many have helped in so many ways and the Miller family is deeply appreciative for each and every act of love that friends and family have poured out. It took us a while to convince them that a go fund me account may be necessary to meet this need, but they have agreed that it is what's best for Carter that matters most. Please help if you can!
