Van and other items for Steven

As many of you know Steven was in a wreck on 12/22/17 and was in the hospital or rehab institute up until 3/21/18. His health has recovered tremendously. But he has been left with no feeling below the chest. So there will be many challenges that come with that and adjusting to the "new normal." Lots of expenses come with that. Since many people have been asking how they can help, and to this point I haven't really been able to tell you what is needed...I thought I'd put this one in front of you. Our parents purchased an accessible van and could use some help in funding that.

As you can imagine this has been quite a change for them and all of us. And anything that takes worries and burdens away is greatly appreciated. I'm sure there are other things that will come up, but this is the item that I know of right now. 

The van is already converted for wheelchair access. It was about $18,000. Any other funds raised would be used to help with in home care items. 

Thanks for all the prayers, well wishes, visits, meals, rides, volunteers that have stayed with Steven, house cleaning services, movers, drivers...etc. We have all felt your presence and love through out this.

There will likely be a fund setup at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ too if that is a more comfortable way to provide help.
