<div>A noite de 28 de janeiro deixou marcas profundas. Primeiro, no bem-estar físico e psicológico de milhares de pessoas, depois nos seus bens pessoais e dos que nos são próximos.

<div>A vida em sociedade, teria que, inevitavelmente, apanhar por tabela. Equipamentos ao dispor das populações, pela sua dimensão, acabariam por ser sofrer danos de monta, irrecuperáveis nalguns casos.

<div>Construído a pulso, fruto do empenho e teimosia de muitos, o nosso Pavilhão Gimnodesportivo, a nossa fortaleza, orgulho de toda uma comunidade, foi impotente face aos desígnios de uma natureza inclemente.

<div>Um sítio pleno de vida, espaço de superação e entreajuda, habituado aos gritos, ao rufar de tambores e às canções de incentivo, permanece, agora, num silêncio que dói, aqui e ali entrecortado, pelo ribombar de chapa amassada e pelo uivo do vento que entra pelas brechas abertas naquela noite de pesadelo.

<div>Vamos honrar o legado dos que ousaram sonhar, quando tudo não passava de uma miragem.
