My niece , Valerie had surgery to remove a brain tumor in early Oct,  just two months after she started a new job. So she has no FMLA or salery.   Her brain surgery resulted in tough neurological complications  due in part to location of the tumor (4th ventricle).

 Valerie's surgeon was unable to remove all the cancerous cells so future treatment is needed . Valerie has just completed her radiation treatment and future treatments will be determined.

Valerie  is  an incredible person and mom of two young boys.   She has congential heart disease with atrial fib and systemic  lupus battles.  In the past, she  just put these health issues aside and worked hard to provide for herself and family. She never asked for help which makes needing support now to fight this brain tumor  even more difficult for her.  Please know that any support you can give to Valerie, no matter how small or large,  will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much.
