Valerie Hunter (mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend) was diagnosed with breast cancer on October 17, 2017, for the second time. She received her first round of Chemotherapy treatment August 22, 2018, at Emory Hospital. Results from test (aggressive Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She understands she is in the FIGHT of her life. Cancer has metastasized to her lungs, liver, and L1. August 29, 2018 she started chemo and had a reaction to it that sent her to ICU. It was rough for her. She didnt want to do it but we both knew it was going to save her at that time. She continued the chemo cycles putting God 1st to get through. The chemo she started was working BUT 3 months in tumors started to grow back rapidly. Soon Valerie had new and more tumors than she started with. Those tumors collected into her lungs and clogged the right lung with fluid. She is back on the oxygen due to this. Also to make it worse Valerie's health insurance from work was cut off November 2018 and she was not aware. She had to get medicaid BUT she needs help at home and they dont provide it. Also they will not supply her with the drains. I know God has mercy on my sister. My faith is just as strong. That does not mean it will be easy or painless. We just really need help!!! We are so grateful for all the love you have given us already. God is so awesome. I pray he bless each of your households. Its hard when there is just 1 income.
