Worthy Alumni,
The Iota Sigma chapter of Sigma Chi finds itself in a time of need.
The Ritual, our fraternity’s most sacred and well kept secrets, requires new regalia in order that we may execute our most sacred tradition respectfully and efficiently.
As you may recall upon your time as an undergraduate member, the Ritual is the one thing that binds all brothers together once a week. Much more than that, it binds each and every Sigma Chi across all of North America together. It guides and directs us with noble purposes and design. It serves as a standard by which all truly loyal Sigma Chi may and must be judged on.
The Ritual is Sigma Chi in its purest form; it is an art which warms the soul years removed--no matter the duration.
Brothers, our chapter is asking for any and all donations to be made so that we may better conduct that which binds us all. It is of the utmost importance that we secure new ritualistic regalia prior to our next initiation, which is slated for Friday, October 19.
In order to make the improvements we wish to make, our chapter is attempting to raise $1,600.00.
Last Spring we called upon our alumni to aid us in purchasing a tent that would--and does-- set us apart from other chapters on campus. We now ask that our alumni aid us in purchasing that which sets us apart from all men in this world.
