Valor Soccer team

Formed in 2018 in the North Union United Soccer Club, the Valor soccer team rosters girls from school districts across the Susquehanna Valley. This U13 team plays in the EDP league, traveling to Philadelphia and New Jersey, as well as playing in a number of high-profile tournaments throughout the state. Playing against this high-quality competition is what propelled Valor to #1 in Pennsylvania and #3 in the US!
The hard work and dedication of these 11 and 12 year-olds, especially in this pandemic is phenomenal. With Spring 2020 season and many tournaments cancelled, these girls continued to work on ball skills and cardio so they were ready if and when play resumed. Through daily and weekly challenges and many zoom calls, the players kept the competition and team bonds growing, even at a distance.
Nearly all of the teams that Valor competes against have paid coaches and high-tech video equipment that is used to improve the skills, movement and soccer knowledge of their teams. While Valor is not interested in hiring any paid coaches, video equipment would improve the coaches ability to further develop the team.
Valor soccer club is a non-profit organization. Funds raised will be used to purchase video equipment and software subscriptions necessary for it. There are also corporate sponsorship opportunities, which can be discussed privately with Head Coach, Jim. Please contact at [email redacted]
