Valle-Rivera fam hurricane relief

A colleague of mine (Ana-Maria) from my postdoctoral days at the University of Texas is from Puerto Rico.  Her parent’s roof was partially destroyed by Hurricane Maria.  Both her parents are "retired", but their pensions are small and so her dad still works as a mechanic.  He did a good job at securing everything before the hurricane, but the winds were just too strong.  Right now, they have tarp covering the part of the roof that was destroyed, and they are thankful that they were even able to find tarp!  Clearly though, they will need help replacing the roof permanently.  They live a very simple life and Ana-Maria’s mother is a selfless person that hates to bother others when in need.  Please consider making a small donation to help them rebuild.  Lots of hands make light work, or in this case, if everyone pitches in just a bit, we could help them on their way to recovery.
