Valerie Rojas' Funeral Fund

Two years ago, our lives were turned upside down when our rock, Valerie, was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Forever a fighter, Valerie overcame her first battle with cancer following surgery and radiation. Life, however, threw her another hurtle. 

Weeks after beating endometrial cancer, she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. After a difficult few months, Valerie showed us just how much of a warrior she was and beat her AML too.

In mid-November of this year, nearly two years after her life-saving bone marrow transplant, our mom was diagnosed with advanced recurrent endometrial cancer.

We were absolutely gutted but hopeful that she would be able to spend a few more months with us.

Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worst this weekend and will soon be leaving us for a better place. A place where she will be at peace and cancer can no longer hurt her. 

Our mom touched the lives of everyone she met. She is, and will forever be, the strongest, funniest, bravest and smartest woman we will ever know. 

In the last month, as she battled an aggressive cancer that invaded her body and her brain, she asked us to be united and to care for one another as only she could care for us. 

She will leave behind her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Juan, and her three children, Nikki, Ally and Kevin. 

We would love to be able to give her the goodbye an amazing woman like her deserves, but we can't do it without your help. Any support we could get would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Any donations would go towards funeral and burial costs.
