On Saturday September 16, Valerie and her twin girls and Marcus her nephew were on their way to watch the Tri-State Fair Parade. At 9:30am while traveling to the event Valerie and her family were involved in a tragic car accident. Valerie's car was hit by a drunk driver at a high rate of speed, luckily Marcus and the girls were not seriously injured, but Valerie sustained serious injuries. Her neck was broken and she has undergone two surgeries and is in the hospital in intensive care. The severity of the injuries could result in Valerie never walking again. However with prayers from all of her friends and family we, are hoping for the best. Even if she recouperates from the injuries it will be a long time before she can return to her daily routine. As friends and family we are attempting to raise money to help her with her daily expenses until she can return to full activity. Thank you all so much !
