Valene's Kidney Transplant

Valene Barlow, a 41 year old mom to 11 kids, was diagnosed with kidney failure in the fall of 2014. In order to stay alive she had to spend 12 hours a day on dialysis that cost around $6,000 a week. Valene has a very rare blood type, making it even more difficult to find a kidney match. She has been on the transplant list for over two years. But despite her poor health and the financial stress, Valene, as a single mom, has still managed keep her job and support her 11 children. To regain her health and life Valene desperately needed a kidney transplant.
On May 21st Valene received the tremendous news that a kidney had became available! Two days later the long awaited surgery took place and Valene is now recovering in the Hospital. But even with insurance the costs for surgery, recovery and medications are enormous! Your support is needed now to help with this financial burden.
Valene is the most giving and loving person I have known, even with the poor quality of life and the struggles she is dealing with, she remains positive and selfless.
