Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of VALE OF EVESHAM COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS response car appeal.
As a response team working with West Midlands Ambulances service NHS Trust we Cover the vale of Evesham and the surrounding some 157 square mile.
What is the role of an Emergency First Responder?
Community first responders are there to provide assistance to those with a medical emergency within 5 miles or 8 minutes of their base location until an ambulance arrives.
The schemes were originally envisaged for rural areas where emergency medical services response is likely to be beyond the required 8–10 minutes target response time.
with the removal of the Evesham and Pershore ambulances to Worcester and Bromsgrove
Why are you currently fundraising?
Current fundraising is for a second and possibly Third response car to cover the Evesham, Broadway and the vale of Evesham area.
At the moment we share a car with a CFR in Eckington on a 2 week swap around. Leaving Evesham Broadway and the surrounding area without a CFR for those periods.
Because of the rural area it is important to have local support whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrives which could be longer than the 8 minute target time for there arrival.
We are looking to get hybrid Dacia Duster or similar
and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
