Val & Andrew's Struggle

Andrew and Val are a lovely couple who reside on a beautiful property in country Victoria. They have 6 beautiful rescue dogs, each with their own sad story. Val and Andrew often go without to support the needs of their animals. Up until recently they were both working, living happily rehabilitating and nurturing their beloved pets. Unfortunately that was until Andrew fell ill three months ago and was constantly in and out of hospital for quite some time. During this time Val has struggled with her own health as she suffers from Fibromyalgia, a disease that causes chronic pain and inflammation, with no cure she has to deal with the pain on a daily basis. Unfortunately Andrew has been dealt a terrible hand, with his liver and kidneys failing now, the doctors have given him 12-18 months to live. Val has now become his full time carer and struggles daily with simple tasks. With a 250km round trip to see him in hospital, which is taking its toll on the pair psychically and financially. With Andrews health deteriorating, they are in need of mobility aids to help keep him comfortable and as independant as possible. I am asking for you to dig deep and help this lovely couple, who would give the shirts off their back to anyone in need.
