Stem Cell Transplant for Charlie Dickens

If you know Charlie "D" Dickens, you know a man who is hard working, caring, selfless, determined, hilarious and loved by all.  He loves his family dearly, especially his 3 grandchildren, and is the most genuine person you'll ever meet.  He's been a loyal employee of Hollingsworth Oil Co. for over 30 years.  He's fixed countless lawn mowers, tractors, vehicles, and basically anything with a motor and tires on it for a lot of people in our community.  He's also been a volunteer firefighter for White House Community 52 for about 15 years.  Charlie has also raced at Highland Rim Speedway for many years, and now enjoys watching his sons race and do demolition derbies.  Charlie has always gone out of his way to help others, no questions asked.  Now, we are asking our friends, family, and community to help him.  Charlie started off this year a little bumpy by having an emergency quadruple bypass in January.  Shortly after recovering from his bypass, Charlie was hit with news that no one wants to hear: you have cancer.  He was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a rare form of blood cancer that causes scarring of the bone marrow.  This came as a major shock to him and his family.  Since his diagnosis, his medical team decided that the best plan of attack to try and stop the Myelofibrosis was for Charlie to undergo a stem cell transplant.  His baby sister, Cindi Bryant, was his only sibling that could be a candidate to match his stem cells...and by the goodness of God, she was a PERFECT 10/10 match!!!  Although it's risky, this could cure his cancer.  He will go through intense chemo before receiving his sister's stem cells.  Doctors are estimating that he will be out of work for about a year while he recovers (although we're praying he bounces back much sooner).  We would like to try and alleviate the financial burden that this brings along with it as much as we can.  If you feel led to donate, we will be forever grateful and appreciate it so very much.  More importantly, we are asking for prayers during this time.  Please pray not only for Charlie, but his wife Maresa, his children and grandchildren, and his sister Cindi...we need ALL the prayers we can get!  We know God has this under control and we aren't fighting alone!  Thanks in advance and God Bless!
