It has been over a month since Irma and Maria hit.
The news has moved on to ther things in the world, but the victims of the hurricanes in the Turks & Caicos still are in great need of help!
On September 7th and 8th, the Turks and Caicos were hit by the largest hurricane in recorded history.
Two weeks after Irma hit, Maria came along and put the icing on the cake.
Our adopted islands were devastated.
We have many friends and aquaintances who have lost not only their roofs, but almost everything they owned.
There are reports that over 1200 power poles are down so there are many people on our islands who will not have power for months.
The Islanders are struggling daily, in need of everything from diapers to drinking water. Cooking dinner becomes a problem for many.
We were fortunate, in that our house is intact, but as stated, many are not.
All funds collected on this site will be forwarded to responsible parties, vetted by Linda and myself.
The disbursement will be to organisations and individuals who still have the greatest need in November.
The Turks & Caicos have not gotten the news coverage that other islands have, but believe me, they need the help just as much!
