Vada's campaign for The ManKind Initiative

Tax deductible
I've been wanting to run for charity for a while and there's no better time than at the beginning of a new year. ManKind is a male domestic abuse charity which help men to escape from physical, verbal and emotional abuse, whether this is from partners, friends, family or work. They are one of few charities not funded by tax payers money or grants, they financially rely on public funding to help those in need. This has been a hard year for everyone and I hope to be able to give back to the community, help others and raise awareness of ManKind.

Throughout January, I've set myself a goal of running at least 150km in and around Edinburgh. This is the same distance from Edinburgh to Newcastle! All donations are welcome and much appreciated as is a free share on any social media platform.

More information about The ManKind Initiative: The ManKind Initiative is a national charity (registered in 2001) providing an information, support and signposting service to male victims of domestic abuse and their families. The helpline is manned by trained people who give information and support on all aspects of domestic abuse. They refer people to refuges, local authorities and other support services where appropriate. The helpline is available Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm on 01823 334244.
