Heavy rainfall has caused deadly flash floods across Pakistan. Over 1100 have lost their lives, and thousands are injured; many of the dead are children and women.

Pakistan Floods Emergency appeal

As reported by Al Jazeera, Flash floods are devasting much of Pakistan. 60% of the annual rainfall has already fallen within the timeframe of three weeks, submerging homes and damaging infrastructure. The Pakistan authorities have reported that the floods have resulted in:

Give to those in need.

€50 Could provide an emergency supply of food to a family for a month

€100 Could provide water and non-food items (e.g., blankets, soap, and hygiene packs)

€200 Could provide safe and secure shelter

€350 Could provide medicine and healthcare facilities to affected communities.

What will the funds be utilized for?

The funds will be used to offer instant relief and rescue, including:

• Temporary shelter

• Food supplies

• Sanitary products

• Water and non-food items

• Medicines and healthcare facilities

How will the funds be utilized?

I've partnered with local community organizers (Al-Khidmat Foundation, Edhi Foundation, Halal-e-Ehmer) and social workers who are already providing relief to the communities.

I believe that I'm running a solidarity campaign, not a charity campaign. I'm hoping to help as many communities as possible during this climate emergency. The country is currently at the behest of a climate emergency of an unprecedented scale. Hence, I believe it is my duty to come forward and extend solidarity to my people.
