On February 24th, 2025 we sadly lost a huge part of our family due to cancer. CJ was a massive character who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. CJ was an endlessly hard working man, who enjoyed his years as a taxi driver and assisting Renal patients. Anyone who knew CJ knew how much of a funny and caring character he was and never missed the opportunity to have a laugh with everyone around him. On July 26th, my family and I will be hosting a charity football tournament to raise funds for Marie Curie who greatly supported us during CJ’s illness. Every contribution, no matter the size will go towards honouring CJ’s memory and supporting Marie Curie in being the amazing support system for thousands of family across the UK. Every contribution will go towards allowing nurses to provide expert care and emotional support for those living with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own home, will go towards bereavement counselling, overnight nursing care, training nurses and supporting hospices to allow them to feel like a home from home for the people they care for.
Thank you all for your love, support and prayers during these past few months. We are forever grateful.
With love,
CJ’s Family.
