Life can change direction in an instant. This has happened to our beautiful Debbie Ferreira and her long time partner Garry Trainor after she returned from work this last RnR.

Deb learned Garry has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. This terrible and unexpected diagnosis has offered her only months with the love of her life.

Anyone who knows Debbie, even for the shortest time, knows what a beautiful soul she is. No one cries alone in her presence. A peer supporter, she has spent countless hours providing comfort, advice and a shoulder to cry on to anyone who needed her Just one of the many qualities that made Garry fall in love with her.

And just like Deb, Garry is the guy who always steps up when a helping hand is needed. A friend to all, Garry is the Ying to Debs Yang. Our Garry heartbreakingly kept his awful diagnosis to himself til Deb flew home, not wanting to worry her. A truly selfless and beautiful act that goes to the heart of who he is.

Now Debbie and Garry need us. With such a short time to come to terms with the prognosis and spend every last moment together, Deb and Garry unable to return to work, leaving an another insurmountable stress on this devastating time. We have formed this account for those who wish to show their support for our beautiful friends and help in some way to ease the financial burden at this time. We cannot imagine what they are both going through, but we CAN make their next most precious months free from added financial fears.
