Millie's Medical Expenses

Millie is a Rock N Roll dog that enjoys playing in her Mom's, Alison Lewis's,  band. They play around the Detroit area with the band String of Ponies, whose 2011 album, "Hurricane Millie, " is named after the dog and features her on the album cover art. The Detroit Metro Times named Millie "Best Onstage Dog" in its best of Detroit awards last year. "When Lewis gets up, Millie will either howl along or she'll get onstage herself and lie down. There's something incredibly cool about something that relaxed, " the alternative-weekly wrote.

Millie was being her cool self on Sunday afternoon when Detroit Police were called to the area where MIllie was playing on an unrelated incidence. Millie was galloping over to the approaching Detroit Officers when one of them destroyed her point blank in the face. Her face was ripped apart,   causing a entry wound in her front lip on her right side, entered there and lodged in her jaw on the other side. 

She was rushed bleeding heavily into emergency surgry and has made it through. She is fighting, so we will too.
Millie will require extensive care for a long time to come and needs our help to get better and back on stage with her mom!

We demand justice for Millie.
