Momma Hillenbrand's Cancer Fund

Five years ago, Chris Hillenbrand was diagnosed with breast cancer. For several weeks she went through rounds of radiation, missing no days of work and continuing to be an outstanding mother to four children. She was put on what she refers to as "cancer medicine" for the following five years in order to keep her healthy. The medicine unfortunately made her feel sick but she had stay on it until she reached five years. Early December 2017, she finally hit this mark and was able to stop taking the medicine. However, her semi-annual mammogram during the following week showed a lump in her breast. The biopsy tested positive for breast cancer.
Her treatment is still undecided, whether it be a lumpectomy and another round of radiation or a mastectomy. Either way, she will not be feeling her best and knowing her, she will not let anyone see the pain she is going through. She has always provided for our family no matter what she is going through. For once, us kids want to return the favor and provide for her. She should feel able to take as many sick days as she needs. We want all of her focus to be on her healing and comfort, not paying doctor bills. With your help, we can give back to our parents and make this entire situation a little less painful for them.
