Rick Sylvester is a friend, pastor, mentor and coach to many in Chester, California. His work with the youth in Chester is well known.   He has fallen ill and has spent the last week and a half in the hospital.  It is a serious illness that almost claimed his life. He has withstood three surgeries.   God has been gracious through all this and has heard the prayers of all who have prayed for his healing.  We believe him to be on the road to recovery although he will have an extended period of regaining strength and getting back to living and being the Rick Sylvester we all depend upon.  He may be in the hospital from four to six months.   
You can only imagine the ways this fund would help him .  As we all know, medical expenses for even a quick emergency room visit can be devastating.  Please help in any way you can.  We will post updates as time goes by and will try to keep all in the loop.
