Help Jon on his road to recovery

A few people have asked how they can help my fiancé Jon so I've created this to make it easier.
For those of you who don't know Jon he was born with cystic fibrosis which is a genetically inherited condition effecting the lungs which generally shortens the life expectancy of those with the disease.
Jon had a bilateral lung transplant approximately 10 years ago but developed diabetes. As a result of the complications he now has end stage kidney failure causing him to no longer be able to go to work or participate in his much loved outdoor activities or usual hobbies. He is now receiving dialysis treatment.
Jon has used up all his sick leave and annual leave with time he spent in hospital. He has income protection, however a small technicality with the insurance company means he has to wait 90 days before he can start receiving any income from them. He tried to access superannuation but the laws that allow early access to it have excluded him because of some other technicalities.
He has tried contacting the NZ consulate, but even his own country refuses to help him in his time of need.
Jon is now stuck in a situation where he cannot work due to illness and can't get any help until his income protection kicks in.
We would be very grateful for any help that will see Jon being able to get through this difficult time without setting him back financially. Any donations will be used to help Jon on his road to recovery with medical expenses and helping him with costs associated with taking extended sick leave from work.
