She spent a few blissful months in remission only to find herself back at square one- now with some bone cancer thrown into the mix. To say that she is strong is an understatement. This shit takes heart.
Let me briefly tell you a little bit about the lady I call Mom…
She is active within the animal rescuing community (11th Hour Rescue), spent a decade coaching soccer, and would sell the coat off her back to make sure you had one too. If you mentioned that you liked her corn dip or pumpkin bread (she’s famous for this stuff), she’d bake you a month’s supply. She’s pretty much an angel.
So why are you reading this? Well, I need your help.
This week my Step Dad was let go from his job of over 18 years.
This puts my family in a very, very serious situation…
My mom is unable to work and with this new wrench thrown into the mix, it leaves her uninsured at the worst possible time.
Cancer treatment without insurance costs upwards of $65,000 a month and she’s currently in the middle of her second set of chemo/radiation treatments.
So, I'm here to today to try and solicit help for medical bills.
If she’s ever touched you or made your day/life better, as I know she has for so many, please consider donating.
If you’ve never met her but you can relate to this situation, please consider donating.
If you're on your way to Starbucks, please consider skipping it and donate the $5.
Any amount is beyond appreciated! And if you can’t, that’s okay too, we’ll take prayers as a form of payment.
